Meet the very Gorgeous Iris Maity

The fifth season of Channel [V]’s Get Gorgeous came to an end today, with the very beautiful Iris Maity winning the title. The 24-year-old Bengali model has also bagged the Miss India Tourism Metropolitan award in 2007. Iris spoke to Patcy N about her win, and her plans for the future.

Tell us about yourself.

I am born and brought up in Mumbai. I got myself a degree in Masters in Business Administration, and started working. I worked in three or four places but I was not satisfied. I always wanted to become an model.

So I told my family that I wanted to be a model. They were shocked at first, but after much persuasion, they agreed.
