Aishwarya to perform with Bebo & Sonam at IIFA

You read this on here first. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be dancing at the 10th IIFA awards to be held in Macau from June 11. Sonam Kapoor is all set to make her stage debut at IIFA this year. Kareena Kapoor too has been confirmed to perform.

The show will be hosted by Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta and Boman Irani. But one of the highlights each year, the movie premiere, has been done away with.

Explains IIFA director Sabbas Joseph, “It can’t be helped. The movie premiere had to be cancelled this year because of the ongoing strike of new releases in Bollywood. Two big films were ready to be premiered at IIFA this year. I shall refrain from mentioning their names. But the imbroglio did away with the premiere. ”

Sonam Kapoor No One is safe everIf she is seemingly all vivacious and happy in ‘Delhi 6′, it is because of two reasons: a) She is like this in real life as well and b) Her character of ‘Bittu’ in this Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directed film is the kind that has a lot to look forward in life and is perpetually happy.

That’s Sonam Kapoor for you, the ‘Saawariya’ girl, who is looking extremely beautiful and happening on screen. And this has been made possible because of a bunch of brilliant people who, in her own words, have come together to design her look.

Sonam, a little more than a year back when ‘Saawariya’ released, there were ton loads of expectations from you. Now when ‘Delhi 6′ arrived, you were already a household name.

The pressure on you must be lesser this time around though, right?

No, actually I have never been under pressure, be it ‘Saawariya’ or now ‘Delhi 6′.

I seriously believe that if there is too much of pressure, you can’t deliver properly as you are constantly thinking of the outcome. I like the journey more than the outcome.

But people do have expectations. Doesn’t that linger on somewhere in the mind?
