Priyanka gains weight for Fashion Movie

While most of the B-town heroines are asked to shrink down to size zero to fit the glamorous movie roles, skinny Priyanka Chopra was required to do otherwise.

The sizzling chick, who had shed flab for her futuristic sloppy no love- no story, ‘Love Story 2050’, was asked to put on a few pounds for Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming flick ‘Fashion’.

The film that show Piggy Chops as a supermodel named Meghna Mathur required her to gain weight as she plays a small town girl, who comes into the city with dreams to make it big in the modeling industry.

Speaking to a news daily, the actress said, ” Let me clear that I had to put on weight for this film and not lose. This girl, Meghna Mathur is a small town girl. Thus to make it look real I had to put on 5 kgs in the first half of the movie. After shooting those scenes I worked out to get back to my normal shape.”

So, what made the extra choosy Priyanka Chopra give her nod to this role?

Besides getting a chance to work with the national award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar, there is a little something that the actress has in common with the role that she plays in the flick.

Apparently, Piggy chops too comes from a small town. The sultry actress came from a Meerut to Mumbai to make it big in the fashion industry.

After bingeing on some heavy calories, Priyanka is now heading back to gym to get her vital stats back in order.
